Tried this place for the first time today. Mainly because we were hosting one of our friends that has Ciliac disease and even a minute amount of gluten causes him extreme discomfort. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised at both the quality/taste of the food and the price. The chorizoqueso was so good as well as the rest of the food. The prices are pleasantly reasonable considering how much most places charge for gluten free items. I will definitely be going back because the staff is very nice, the place is clean and mainly because the food was soooo good.

Great food - my wife and I ordered some cachapas for a quick lunch. ¡Muy bueno! Just like being in Venezuela. Will definitely stop back next time I'm in the 'Burgh!

Absolutely the best food around here. My wife and friends come here almost every Saturday and are never disappointed. We tried another restaurant last week, just to try something different, but after the first bite at the other place we instantly regretted not coming back to Arrepitas instead. We always get the sancocho soup, a Pabellon Arrepa and tequeños filled with guava and cheese!

Is street food so don’t expect anything fancy but food tastes really good, attention was good and place looks clean organized and nice to even sit down. Empanadas, cachapas and chicha tasted great 100% venezuelan. I recommend!

I have never had Venezuelan food before and I was in Pittsburgh for the night looking for a place to eat. The 15 minute walk from the hitel was worth it. The drink tasted better than horchata. I wish there was a Arepittas in Toledo, Ohio.

We are so lucky to have this spot tucked away quietly in the Burgh!! The food is amazing and the staff is so friendly. Very cool to eat authentic Argentinian a few blocks away from home.

I have had arepas in many different countries and cities around the world, and this was one of the best ones. The service also made the experience even better by being greeted in Spanish by a sweet woman excited to serve us. I ordered the reina pepieda which is my go-to, and it was stuffed with avacado! I ordered the spicy cilantro sauce with it, and it was good but did lack spiciness. It could use a bit more kick. I will be sure to come back next time I am in Pittsburgh.

Lots of options here with all kinds of arepas, empanadas, taco, etc. They have a ton of different meats to choose from and have an extensive vegetarian menu as well! We ordered a chicken arepa and a chicken empanada. Both were extremely fresh and delicious! Highly recommend!

Great Venezuelian place with fresh homemade food. Had the Arepa Pabellon which was a wonderfully flavored shredded beef with beans and avacado served in a soft corn shell. Terrific flavors mixed to perfection. Everything was made fresh and rhe slight wait was well worth it. Lots of options in this casual order at the couter restaurant.

A trendy, well-designed restaurant with an impressive menu, and number of choices. I went overboard picking so many different dishes: I had the tostones, the chachapa, and a vegetarian bowl with plaintains, rice, vegetables, beans, and an arepa. The portion sizes were generous, the food was fresh, and the service was fast and friendly. Now keep in mind this is a TON of food, so I definitely spent a lot of money, but you can have a super affordable meal here for $15-30 easy. This place was on my list of restaurants to visit in Pittsburgh and I am delighted to say that it was my FAVORITE spot out of every place there!
